She is currently leading and collaborating on interdisciplinary efforts to improve cancer support on social media – by sharing the good and reducing the bad. Dr. Lazard will share her evidence-based communication science for the benefits and challenges of using social media for cancer support and strategies to reduce the harm of inaccurate cancer claims on social media.
