Introduction and discussion of supportive care programs in a "home away from home" for patients during their cancer journey.

Denise Spector, PhD, MPH, ANP, RYT, provides an overview of integrative oncology which includes evidence-based strategies for helping to mitigatecommon cancer symptoms and cancer treatment-related side effects, as well as strategies that may improve one's overall healthand well-being along the cancer care continuum.

Samuel Cykert, MD, and Christina Yongue, MPH, MCHES, describe the long-lasting racial disparities in breast and lung cancer care, and some of the root causes for these inequities. Participants will learn how a community-academic-medical partnership addressed these disparities by designing system-change interventions based on antiracism principles.

William Wood, MD, MPH will review ways to expand traditional clinic-based cancer navigation to population-based cancer navigation using a central navigation approach. We will discuss how this approach can foster equity in care delivery and outcomes, while incorporating new initiatives that promote quality improvement. We will also talk about how this work fits into the current national environment that surrounds cancer navigation, including the recent development of a learning community and of new proposed billing codes that support the delivery of navigation services.

Sonali Acharya, PharmD. will explain the role of specialty pharmacies. We will discuss accreditation requirements for specialty pharmacies, process to determine which medications are considered specialty and specifically the benefits of a healthcare system specialty pharmacy.
