William Wood, MD, MPH will review ways to expand traditional clinic-based cancer navigation to population-based cancer navigation using a central navigation approach. We will discuss how this approach can foster equity in care delivery and outcomes, while incorporating new initiatives that promote quality improvement. We will also talk about how this work fits into the current national environment that surrounds cancer navigation, including the recent development of a learning community and of new proposed billing codes that support the delivery of navigation services.

Mark Woodcock gives a broad overview of the multidisciplinary approaches for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas in adults, and detailed updates in management with systemic therapies. Specific attention is paid to sarcoma sub-types which may warrant special considerations.

Lisa M. Gangarosa, MD provides an overview of epidemiologic trends in colorectal cancer (CRC) modifiable and non modifiable risk factors for CRC, and screening strategies for CRC.
