Course Description

Amy DePue, MSN, RN, OCN, CBCN, will take a look at the implementation of Rapid Access for patients being referred for a newly diagnosed cancer, how UNC Healthcare is continuing to break down barriers to care.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify multidisciplinary needs of the newly diagnosed cancer patient.
  • Discuss barriers to care for the newly diagnosed cancer patient.
  • Describe organizational commitments to patient centered care.
