Hybrid Event Description

Through a case-based presentation, we will tour the standard of care for patients with melanoma from stage IIB through stage 4 and we will explore some of the research avenues for patients who had had recurrence of their cancer after immune check point inhibitors.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the current standards of care for patients with stage IIB–IV melanoma.
  • Understand that neoadjuvant immunotherapy is preferred over adjuvant treatment whenever feasible.
  • Evaluate therapeutic options for patients with cancer progression on immune checkpoint inhibitors and determine appropriate sequencing.
