Liquid Biopsies for the Detection and Molecular Characterization of Lung Cancer - Live
Webinar InformationWebinar Description Circulating nucleic acids represent promising biomarkers for non-invasive, sensitive, specific, and dynamic detection and characterization of cancers. While research in the field initially mainly focused on detection of tumor-derived mutations in patients with metastatic disease, more recent work has begun to explore applications in early-stage cancer patients and led to the development of methods for non-invasive analysis of gene expression. In this presentation, I will describe work our group has done to develop and apply novel assays for detection and analysis of circulating nucleic acids, including cell free DNA and RNA.
