Presented by Mary W. Dunn, MSN, RN, NP‑C, OCN, this webinar provides an overview of contemporary management strategies for advanced kidney cancer. Learners will explore the role of cytoreductive nephrectomy, review systemic treatment options for metastatic disease, and discuss considerations for sequencing therapy. The session will also highlight common toxicities associated with systemic treatments to support safe and effective patient care.

Learning Objectives

  • ​Discuss the use of cytoreductive nephrectomy in advanced kidney cancer
  • Review at least 3 systemic options for management of metastatic kidney cancer
  • Discuss sequencing of systemic treatment
  • List at least 3 possible toxicities related to systemic treatment for advanced kidney cancer
