Erin Kent, PhD, MSc and Loretta Muss, RN, BA will discuss How to recruit the caregiver into the patient’s plan of care and understanding the role and the stresses of being an oncology caregiver.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe who caregivers are and how they assist patients with cancer.
  • Explain how caregiving can take a toll on caregivers' own health.
  • List different ways that caregivers can be supported and integrated into the multidisciplinary care team.
