Webinar Description

Beng Richard Fuh, MD, will review clinical signs and symptoms that rise concerns for cancer in children. He will also review common strategies for treatment of cancer in children. Then he will discuss common pediatric oncologic emergencies and review the management of fever in neutropenia in children being treated for cancer.

Learning Objectives

  • List common clinical presentations of cancer in children
  • Differentiate most common types of childhood cancer
  • Explain how to manage common oncologic emergencies in children
  • Identify the risk and management of fever and neutropenia in children on myelosuppressive chemotherapy
