Caring for the Patient with Colorectal Cancer – SPOC

Tammy Triglianos, DNP, ANP-BC, AOCNP, will provide an overview of Colorectal Cancer: prevention, screening, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment, survivorship.

Target Audience

These courses are designed for students enrolled in health sciences programs and the community colleges across the state of North Carolina.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe common signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer
  • Understand risk factors, screening and early detection
  • Understand colorectal cancer staging, principles of treatment, as well as survivorship
