
The Vital Role of Primary Care Providers in Breast Cancer Survivorship Care - LIVE
The purpose of this course will be to highlight the important role primary care providers (physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, etc) play in providing ongoing management for breast cancer survivors once they have completed their oncology care. Additionally, this course will review key follow up guidelines and recommendations for patients with a history of breast cancer and how the survivorship care plan encourages collaborative care between the oncology and primary care teams.
Target Audience
These courses are intended for medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, physician assistants, radiologic technologists, researchers, pharmacists, trainees, allied health personnel, and others who are interested in care for patients and survivors in North Carolina.
