Introduction to Abdominal CT SPOC

This will be an interactive, introductory session on computed tomography with an emphasis on anatomy and common oncology findings.

Target Audience

These courses are intended for medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, physician assistants, radiologic technologists, researchers, pharmacists, trainees, allied health personnel, and others who are interested in care for patients and survivors in North Carolina.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the process of using a search pattern in evaluating CT results
  • Review basic abdominal anatomy by CT
  • Identify common presentations of metastatic disease on CT scan
