Instructions to Join a Class

  1. Double check: Is the email for Exploring Cancer or for The Introduction to the Pathology of Disease?
    1. These are different classes with their own schedules and email reminders.
  2. In the email for The Introduction to the Pathology of Disease, click on the big blue button Click Here to Join this Class Online.
  3. Ensure that you have an account, are logged into the Learning Portal, and have enrolled in the course.
    1. You are logged in if you see your name on the righthand side of the blue ribbon at the top of the browser window. Skip to number 6.
    2. You are NOT logged in if you see Login to the UNCLCN Learning Portal on the righthand side of the blue ribbon at the top of the browser window.
  4. If you are not logged in, click on the link Login to the UNCLCN Learning Portal on the righthand side of the blue ribbon at the top of the browser window.
  5. On the Log in / Create account page, click on the blue button Login.
  6. Type in your username and password, then click on the blue button Log in.
  7. Click on the big blue button Take course.
  8. On the page Course Home, click on the blue button Start course.
  9. On the page Zoom, click on the link Join the webinar.
  10. Clicking on join the webinar will open Zoom.
  11. When the class starts, you will be brought in as a guest.
  12. You will receive a message asking if you want to be Promoted to Panelist.
  13. Click the button yes” as all students must be promoted to panelist to participate in each class.
