Webinar Description

Healthcare providers supporting oncology patients may experience burnout and compassion fatigue. The objectives of this lecture are threefold: First, help participants identify signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and burnout. Second, support providers in understanding the myriad strategies that can be adopted to promote wellbeing. And, finally, participants will have opportunity to begin creating a personalized coping skills toolbox.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize symptoms of burnout and/or compassion fatigue
  • Differentiate between a variety of coping skills
  • Identify specific skills that can be implemented to promote resilience
