Resolving MediaSite Livestream Issues

Recommended Browsers

We recommend Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

Those using Safari on a Mac with an M1 or later chip will experience problems that we cannot resolve.

Using Chrome on a Mac with an M1 or later chip

1. Open Chrome and go to Settings (under the Chrome menu tab).
2. On the left side of the screen, click on the tab System.
3. Under the section System uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available or Use hardware acceleration when available.
4. Restart Chrome.

Using FireFox on a Mac with an M1 or later chip

1. Open Firefox and go to Settings (under the Firefox menu tab).
2. Scroll down to the section Performance
3. Under the section Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings.
4. Under the section Performance, uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
5. Restart Firefox.
